WPS Preschool Screening 2026-27

by Friday, February 27, 2026, to sign up your child for a screening appointment for the full day (tuition)
preschool in the Winthrop Public Schools.
All children must be residents of Winthrop, MA and be 4 years old before September 1, 2026 to be eligible. Tuition for the 2025-26 school year was $8,000.
*There could be a tuition increase for 2026-27 subject to School Committee vote.
After completing this form, families will be contacted to schedule a preschool screening appointment. Screenings will be held March 2-4, 2026.
If more students register than available spots in the Integrated Preschool for tuition students, a public lottery will be held in May 2026.

Child Find Screening - Ages 3-5
The Winthrop School District is conducting Child Find screenings for children ages 3-5 (who are NOT presently attending the Winthrop Public Schools and who are residents of the town of Winthrop) to help
identify potential developmental needs.
Screenings will be held on February 24, 2026.
